The Joy of Diffusing ~ CW Favorite Blends

What's so Great About Diffusing Essential Oils??

The fragrance of our home is unique.  It's a fingerprint of all who live there, that speaks volumes about it's inhabitants!   I bet it's safe to say that most of us love to walk into a home that smells of fresh laundry or baked bread, hot chocolate chip cookies or coffee brewing.  These aromas are relax and comfort us, they induce a physical reaction and create memories that stay with us for a lifetime.  Fragrance is no small matter!

Unlike chemicals, essential oils don't remain in the body.  They leave no toxins behind.  Essential oils make sense as air purifiers and refreshers because they cleanse the air by altering the structure of the molecules creating the smells.  Synthetic room scents only mask odors.

The science of fragrance is real.  When we understand that synthetic scents fill our homes and our bodies with chlorofluorocarbons and other chemicals we can see the value of essential oils even more clearly.  A home's signature scent should never be the cause of migraines, allergies and ozone depletion.

In December 2012, Camp Wander and Friends took on the "small" (of large proportion) project of putting together a group order for my favorite diffuser, The Whisper (as seen above on left).

We were each able to save almost $30 by placing a group order!

Once again, a great big thanks goes to Diane for orchestrating the undertaking!

For all the new owners of a Whisper Diffuser, I want to thank you for your patience and trust by presenting a few favorite recipes that you can paste in your EO journal, index or scribble on a random post-it note!

Take inventory of your home's fragrance signature.  Replace synthetic scents by diffusing healthy pure essential oils.

Use them often, let the pure plant essence permeate your carpets, draperies and furniture.  Your home's fragrance footprint will be refreshed and renewed with essential oils, all who pass through your front door will feel and SMELL the difference!

Enjoy!

  3. I was one of the millions of Americans that have already come down with the flu. I must say the process was fast and easy because of my doTerra oils!!!

I "rolled" on my feet 1 drop oregano, 2 drops On Guard and 3 drops lemon in cocunut oil, 4-5 times a day.

I also alternated defusing breath and on-guard during the day/night.

Don't forget peppermint is a wonderful fever reducer if you need it! This flu can give you very high temps... let the fever go as high as you can take then a drop of peppermint on your wrist and down it will come.

It went so well I was thinking of sneaking into our local hospital that is inundated with flu patients and giving them the mixture...

    1. I love this, thanks for sharing your protocol and your story! I'm with you, it just makes me sad that so many people still don't have any idea about the healing power of these oils. This is what drives me!
